Caverna Scorekeeper ("the app," "we," "us") is a score-tracking companion app for the board game Caverna: The Cave Farmers, built by McSchneider Design Studios. This policy explains what information is collected, how it is used, and your rights regarding that information.
No account required. Caverna Scorekeeper does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.
Local game data. Player names you enter and game scores are stored locally on your device using your device's local storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to any server.
Advertising data. The app displays banner ads served by Google AdMob. AdMob may collect certain device information and identifiers to serve relevant ads. Please see Google's privacy policy for details on how AdMob handles data.
What we do not collect. We do not collect your name, email, location, contacts, camera or microphone data, or any other personally identifiable information.
We do not sell or share your information with third parties for marketing purposes.
The app relies on the following third-party service. It has its own privacy policy.
The app displays banner ads via Google AdMob. You may opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device settings under Google › Ads › Opt out of Ads Personalization.
Consent for users in the EEA and UK. If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or another region where consent is legally required, the app presents a consent request — managed through Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) — before any personalized ads are shown. You may accept or decline; if you decline, you will still see ads, but they will not be personalized.
All game data (player names, scores, history) is stored locally on your device. You can delete this data at any time by clearing the app's storage in your device settings, or by using the "Clear History" option within the app.
The app is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided information through the app, please contact us and we will address it promptly.
If we make material changes to this policy, we will update the effective date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
