Jack-o'-Lantern Studio ("the app," "we," "us") lets you carve virtual pumpkins, built by McSchneider Design Studios. This policy explains what information the app uses and how. The short version: the app collects nothing about you, and we never receive any of your data.
No account required. Jack-o'-Lantern Studio does not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the app.
We collect no personal data. The app does not collect, store, or transmit your name, email, location, contacts, identifiers, usage statistics, or any other personal information. It contains no analytics, no advertising, and no third-party tracking. Your carvings stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
The optional Creeps & Critters stencil pack is a one-time purchase made through the Apple App Store or Google Play. The store handles the whole payment:

On iPhone and iPad, the Save button adds a picture of your pumpkin to your Photos. The first time you tap it, your device asks for permission to add photos.
You can decline and still use every other part of the app, including Share. You can change this permission at any time in your device settings. On Android, the app asks for no photo or storage permissions at all; you save pictures through the share sheet instead.
When you tap Share, the app makes a picture of your pumpkin on your device and opens your device's share sheet. You choose where it goes, and it is sent only by the app or service you pick. We never receive it.
The app saves one small setting on your device: which stencil packs you've unlocked, so they stay unlocked even when you're offline. This never leaves your device. Carvings are not saved between sessions; share or save one to keep it.
Apart from the App Store or Google Play billing described above, Jack-o'-Lantern Studio does not use any third-party services, SDKs, or servers. Carving works entirely offline.
Because we collect no data, there is nothing for us to retain or delete. You can remove the on-device setting by clearing the app's storage in your device settings or uninstalling the app. Your purchases stay with your store account and can be restored at any time.
The app does not collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13. Purchases go through the store's own confirmation, including any parental controls you have set up.
If we make material changes to this policy, for example if a future version adds a feature that uses data differently, we will update this page and the effective date above before that version is released.
